Knitty Kitty Dt Project.. Purrmaids

Hiya, for today's card I have done another card for Knitty Kitty, these little mere Kitties are just so cute so I just went into fun mode both in the colouring and the making of the card..A bit different for me but a girl just has to have fun occasionally..These would make a fun project for the kids to colour too if you printed them onto som A4 paper and they could stick glitter and all sorts on it .
I coloured the image onto Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils.I also did a tag too which I photographed separately as well , and I coloured this using Conte a Paris Pastel Pencils ..I used Tonic Papers for the background from a Summer morning pas and I used a Star gold embossed craft card behind both images to frame them .First the card I matted the paper onto craft card, the colours went so well but also kept the fun of the card too hence the choice. Before adding the topper to the card I added some gauze behind it to represent fishing nets and to decorate I have used First edditions underwater creatures I am not sure what its actually called but if you are looking for it you will not miss it ..To finish I added a hand pleated piece of blue/green sparkle ribbon and some shell shaped irridesant gems  ..Fot the Tag the topper was backed with the same embossed craft card as the card was But the whole thing was cut out using Tattered Lace Basic Tags,I used other pieces from out of the same die set to decorate,All the diecuts have been coloured using SN Sparkle pens to give a twinkle ..I then added a pretty double bow to finish and finished with a lovely gem..Thank you for popping by :)xx

613 Avenue Create DT Card

Hiya for todays card I have chosen this really funny, different  Knome Lady Digi from QKR Designs..I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..(The background is my own creation and not on the stamp) ,then I mounted her onto craft card..The papers are from Tonic Simply Blooms paper pad and fit in beautifully with the bright colourful  Knome lady.and also matted onto craft card too.The panel of embossing that I have put down the one side is from the latest Crafter's Companion Inspiration Magazine and is a border panel and a sample of what will be a new release shortly in the Signature range ..It looks great from the bits in the mag..Any way I actually used the backing card from the packet which was a nice colour that brought out the fleshy colours from the image and also from the main backing papers, waste nothing here lol!.To finish I added a variety of blooms down the panel and then added a few faux half pearls to the center ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Digital Delights By Louby Lou..New Release

Hiya hope you like this fun card it was such a great card to do ..I have coloured the image with ..wait for it!!.. Prismacolor Pencils...I felt like a change in doing this one today, but it is still on my preferred card Neenah. Once I coloured the image in I used a Dutch Doobadoo Star Template to draw carefully around the monkey to encompass the balls so I did not have to cut them out separate and inevitely loose them.Once I completed the background I then mounted it onto craft card and then carefully cut around it leaving a small border ,this was more to add support than anything as you can see the star for this is at a different angle to the card's star. Once done I then used the larger sizes on the template and cut the two outer stars for the card base ,then I cut two smaller ones out on the inside of the template for the paper..Once I had cut these out and glued the backing papers on ( Tonic Simply Blooms papers ) I then used a ruler to bend the top arm of the star so I could attach this to the front of the other piece ( you can see the card is attached by the top point on the bottom pic ) ..It is best to use either a strong glue like tacky glue or red tape ..I prefer Tacky glue as it allows a little wiggle room, While this finished going off I backed the sentiment off with craft card and carefuly cut around it .Then using 3D glue gell I added the topper to the now star card and added the sentiment with the same glue too ,Sorry it is a bit long winded today, but it is to help those who do not know how to make shaped cards..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Challenge DT Card

Hiya for today's card I have again coloured with Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card ,then I cut the finished image out with a Tattered Lace Notched corner rectangle die ,then I cut using the next size dies in craft card and turquoise Centura Pearl card, and finally again in craft card ..I wanted this to be the main feature to make the image to stand out, I then cut a card down to suit the Die cut finished piece and used Tonic Papers as you can tell these are by far my favourite of all as the variety across the different pads is so diverse and can suit both male and female cards ,also they are a good quality and great price too ..for this card I used Simply Patterns paper pad..Perfect and colourful fun for this card ..These I mounted the same as the topper but only in the turquoise and craft card.. I then added a cluster of various stars to the topper and just off in gold, silver, white and red and just a gold and red one to balance at the bottom.I really must try and find some suitable boys things in dies ,its very hard to decorate a boys card as if you put too much on they will think its's sissy I was lucky with my Grandson he liked things like Dr Who so it was easy to please him lol..To finish I added a Have a Fun day Sentiment down the edge of the topper..Thank you for visiting :)xx

My Besties Uk Dt card

Hiya ,Today I am a little sad as I have got my last two Besties for you on today as I have stood down from the team to do some different work,so hopefully you will see some different designers work being showcased on my blog in the future ..However I have loved being on the team and I know the team is a strong  one so please keep showing your support ,Thank you :)
Todays card I have used my usual Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..I cut the image out first by hand so I had details sticking out from the circle ,then using a basic die I then cut out a larger circle in craft card and glued it behind her.I used Papers from Tonic Mid Summer Morning Paper pad, these were also backed onto craft card ..I have also added white stitching around the polka dot piece using a white gel pen too as it gives more interest..The flower die I used is from Crafter's Companion and its from Sheenas Perfect Partners ,I think it is a wild rose from her first ones she made..To finish I added some pretty incandescent gems to the center of the flowers and some pink gem flowers to the opposite side ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

*Please note the little bird houses and the little bird are my addition and are not a part of the stamp*

New Release Sasayaki Glitter

Hiya ..Well it has been a really busy few days for Sasayaki Glitter with celebrations and a lovely freebie giveaway on FB ..now it is time for the fabulous New Release ..I have chosen Butterfly Kitty but done her in a mixture of colours ,..well she is magical after all...I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card, mounted her onto craft card as were the backing papers..With this card I used a Tonic Pad called Simply Blossoms..I played with different layers in choosing four different papers ..I think it just works so nice with this stamp ,I did not colour the background as I wanted to let the image stand out more and felt it would be lost with one. I used some red blooms I have had for absolutely years and as it was running late I thought ahh! I wonder? ..Well to cut the story short at two in the morning you would pick a flower from the garden rather than haul the Machine out lol!..Well I was pleasantly surprised and after layering it up it actually looks fab,the angle I took the photos make it look droopy sorry its not lol! Any way I popped a white pearl gem in the center and added three red hearts to the left of the card to finish..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Guest Designer Card Besties Australia

Hiya I just love this little one sitting on an upturned cup..so I had to use her for the Guest Designer post..I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..Mounted her onto Craft card and all my papers too ..I use craft card a lot to me it like gold goes with anything ,but it's recycled so also doing a bit for the environment too .The two back papers are from a GCD Studio Paper pad called Melody Ross Designs this one being the Lydia Collection..The top polka dot piece is an off cut from my Tonic paper pads ..I have used a pitt pen to do squiggly lines around that and also tied a piece of burlap ribbon around it and put a bow on it of the same ribbon ..Just love this got a load for next to nothing off ebay, smells so nice too.I used pre-made flowers to decorate the bow ,then added a few bright pink faux pearl gems to finish..Thank you for popping by : ) xx.
