Sparkly Christmas ..Glitter n Sparkle DT card

This is my last card for Glitter n Sparkle as I am leaving the team ,its just a bit too much work doing a card a week for me with all my other obligations too..This is a lovely image from Cute as a Button ..I have coloured her using my Polychromos pencils on Neenah card..I have used an 8x8 card base and have mounted my papers onto craft card..The papers I have used are Dovecrafts Krafty Christmas..The center panel I have sprayed with Spray and glitter from Crafters companion and the stars I have covered in glue and glittered myself..They look a bit like the sugar plumb lollypops we used to get as kids..many won't remember them ,but recycled teenagers like me will..We had some great sweets in our days lol..I have glues all the staes and the Topper down with 3D Gel as with the glitter on and being loose it will hold much more securely....Thank you for visiting and I wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas full of Joy and warm Memories :)xx

Ho!, Ho! ,Ho! Santa..613 Avenue Create DT card

This card was fun and also an adventure..I had to create a larger star as my dies were too small to start with ..then I stuck it to some watercolour card with temporary fix spray glue..Then went to town with Brushos..thes are so cool,and amazing to watch pop to life..I wanted a bright like the lights on a Christmas tree background ..For my first attempt I am rather tickled pink with these too..will no doubt play again sometime.I Coloured the image in Polychromos pencils onto Neenah card,and fussy cut him out..I then used a XCut alphabet die set for the Ho! Ho! s.. I cut the center of the star out and left a small white trim around the edge to highlight it ..then I matted it onto Craft card..Yep I know I use it loads ,but its recycled and its doing a bit for the enviroment as well as looks good and does not give the shine of gold card..Any way if you get a chance do get a hold of some of these tiny pots they are amazing..Thank you for visiting xx

My First Clean and Simple card ..Glitter n Sparkle DT card

This is completely outside of my box ..but just had to do one ,seen loads on the challenges and on FB so this image is just perfect for this simple style of card.. As usual I have coloured the lovely image in with my Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card and mounted it onto craft card..I toyed with the idea of backing paper but decided it needed clean and simple,however iI did add a small bow he he ..or Ho ! Ho! Ho! ..so this weekend I have done two things I have never done before..is it easier ..not really as you need to put a lot of thought into the card..Thank you for popping by xx

Morgan Fitszimmons Non Traditional Christmas Colours

This is a beautiful image to colour..as it is non traditional colours I decided to do it in teal..I used Polychromos pencils on Neenah card.. I added a simple background as I wanted her to be the main feature on the card,so s few simple lines and circles it was easily done..I used pinks and golds in the sky as well as warm greys..This helped to push the figure to the front and the clothing to stand out too... For the card I used a simple fold back and matted papers from Papermania Krafty Christmas ontoCraft card then the back and the front..I then added further detail to the front by adding the two off cuts from the blue paper to craft card and making a feature of them..The snowflakes are cut from a Tonic Snowflake punch,using craft card and I placed tiny Crystal in the center.to finish...The card is simple yet it is one of those really striking cards that really pops on the fireplace..Thank you for visiting :)xx

A Home for Christmas... Julia Spiri DT card

With this card this week we had to create a Dolls house,house for Julia's work so this is what I have come up with for this one..The Images are coloured on Neenah card with Polychromos Pencils and tthe background I have hand drawn onto Bristol Board ans also coloured with Polychromos Pencils too..Was supposed to be a Mushroom ,but realised when proportioning it onto the card and using te images it was not really possible to get it into perspective or make it believable .so it has turned out with flatter roof  than I had planned The background I have used chalks to colour in the sky ..I then mounted it onto first craft card ,then black card to stiffen it .Then I added a normal 5x7 card to the back as a stand and some  red ribbon,and a bit of red and gold ribbon to finish and topped with a white rose..Thank you for visiting :)xx

The Gift ..Besties uk Dt card Anything Goes and Christmas

As soon as I saw this digi I fell in love with her ,so she is my pick this time.. She is coloured in Polychromos as usual on Neenah card.. All papers are mounted onto craft card and I have actually used papers from My Tonic Paper pad as I have misplaced my Christmas pad I wanted to use and need to get more paper so could not even print out ..Hard at 1.30 am on Monday morning lol,my cat suit does not fit any more lol..for the slightly older teenagers like my self you will know what that means ..(what bank robbers would usein the olden days  with a mask and stripey jumper)  lol..The papers are not Christmas but I actually think they work well so shhh!..The central panel is an off cut of plain paper just to bring the green through to the card..I faux stitched this to make a feature of this and once I stuck the topper in place with 3D glue gel I then added 3 snowflakes cut from a Tonic Punch to each side and popped blue pearls into the center to set them off..and to finish I added a small gold bow and popped another snowflake and pearl into the center..Its a bit quirky but was fun making and thats what crafting is all about ..Thanks for visiting :)xx

Candle Light ..Glitter n Sparkle DT Card

The image from The Stamping Boutique this week has been coloured in with Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..When I first received it I thought hmm! , as when you do some DT work you do what is chosen for you,this is one that i would not have chosen..But needless to say I did my magic on it and was amazed at how beautiful it has come out..It was one of those I put down and picked up and did a bit more on a few times but I am pleased with it..The beautiful material look backing paper is one I found printed out in my files from some time ago ,probably a CC paper ,as I keep what is not used just in case ..This went beautifully with the image and did not overcrowd it .The Ivy dies are from CC Diesire range and the flowers are from Sue Wilson's Christmas Poinsettia collection I had these a few years ago and I have cut these and all my gold card in a linen effect mat gold,just a nice glowing gold..I used glitter ribbon on a section of the gold card and placed it central across the card,then added Topper with 3D glue gel..The right hand corner is going to have a personalized tag on so it has been Photographed without ,so use your imagination lol..I do not add personalized tags unless its for my family and they have received then . You understand ..To finish I have added purple gems with snowflakes in to pull the purple out of the one bauble ,but as the light changes they do show gold and red too ..Thank you for visiting xx
